Missin Coaching
For 8 years of my life I poured everything I had into coaching wrestling. When it ended I can admit I was ready to move on to the next chapter of myself. However, wrestling and coaching in general was so much more than winning and losing. The lifetime relationships forged during that period of my life will last forever. It’s amazing so go to Wal-Mart or out to eat and see one of your former athletes and you see how they have developed into productive citizens and outstanding people. That is the part I miss the most, developing future leaders, seeing them go off to college, have families, and go on to win in the bigger game of life. No accomplishment that I ever had makes me feel better than that. I will forever be grateful to have had to opportunity to affect so many lives and at times I still wish I was in the game affecting more… Maybe when I hit my 30′s or 40′s I can make a comeback!!!

UodALM Excellent article, I will take note. Many thanks for the story!
